About Orange Sky Aotearoa
Orange Sky is a non-profit organisation that provides free mobile laundry services for people doing it tough.
Every week across Aotearoa, our amazing tauo (volunteers) show up to support friends and whānau with a warm welcome, a listening ear, and a chance to feel seen.
The focus is on creating a safe, positive and supportive environment for people who are too often ignored or feel disconnected from the community.
Right now, more than 112,000 people across the motu are experiencing housing deprivation. With your help, we can keep our vans on the road and reach more friends and whānau facing a tough winter.
We’re currently running 10 services across the motu – but we need your help to reach more friends in need.

Sign Up
How do I sign up?
It’s so easy! Just click the 'sign up' button in the top right hand corner. The whole process will be done and dusted quicker than you can load your laundry - and registration is free!
Can I sign up as a team?
Absolutely! In fact, we encourage it. People who sign up as part of a team usually go on to raise up more than if they were doing it alone. Get your branch or support centre team mates involved – there’s no limit on the number of teammates you can have, so ask away! Click sign up to see how to set up your team.
How do I share my team page or link?
You can invite colleagues in the sign up process or simply share the url at the top of your team page, or even share via the social share buttons on your page.
Fundraising
Does it cost money to sign up?
Good news – it’s free to sign up! However, being a fundraising activity we’d love to challenge you to raise funds for Orange Sky. $48 is a great place to start. That’s the cost of providing fresh, clean and dry clothes to a whānau this winter.
Where does my money go?
100% of funds raised go to Orange Sky to help people experiencing homelessness. It costs $48 to provide a arm shower and clean clothes and $295 to funds an entire Orange Sky shift, so dig deep – every dollar counts!
Will people who donate to me get a tax-deductible receipt?
Absolutely! Donations from $5 are tax deductible. Receipts are issued automatically to the donor after a donation is made through your fundraising page.

No stress! When you click Login on the top right of the home page, a pop out will open and there will be a ‘Forgot password?’ button. You'll be asked to enter your registered email address below and we will send you a reset password link. Follow the steps in the email to reset your password.
I need help updating my online profile – who can I contact?
Head to the top right hand corner of your profile, and you can check out the options to update your profile. If you’re having trouble, click here to contact us.
How do I create my fundraising page?
It’s seriously easy. When you sign up for the challenge, you’ll be taken through all the steps to set up your personal or team page and get you ready to smash that fundraising goal!
